When you send a satin cross pillow to a funeral does it go in the casket or to the family?
i gather your not related to the deceased person? in which case the satin cross pillow would most likely be placed with the flowers, and put on the grave,

The only thing you can do is go up your chain of command. If you can't get approval, then send a gift basket with a sympathy card. Explain to the family

The Red Cross doesn't approve emergency leave, they just inform your chain of command that there is a bona fide emergency. If your unit won't let you go

My grandpa was buried with a metal cross that was blessed with Holy Water. My grandma, my uncles, and my sister and I received the same cross , blessed with Holy Water. This was a Catholic
