what are other flowers in Nevada besides the sagebrush?

Im doing a project and i cant seem to find any other flowers other than the state flower: the sagebrush. Anyone know of any other colorful flowers in Nevada?

moving and need to have plant life that will not freeze in winter or burn in summer, sandy soil
Although I live in an area with plenty of moisture year-round I sometimes need to plant sun-baked areas with poor sandy soils.

Go to your local nursery. Ask about "drought resistant" plants. They're actually all the rage, because they're more eco-friendly. Doing so locally

i live in Nevada. I have no clue whatsoever on how to take care of a lawn let alone plant flowers but i know i want to learn being this as our first house with a backyard.
You can check at your local retail store that sells seeds and find out what zone your in. Any greenhouse in your area would be able to help you - most
