Please I want to find out what flowers grow best in Oklahoma for Spring, Summer and Fall. Any advice?

I would like to plant some colorful ones in my yard but don't know if it's too early in the year. Any suggestions on types of flowers, too?
NO, you can't count on the nurseries to help you. Gracious. They get stuff in so early some time.
